Since
moving from the East side of Youngstown to Poland in 1963….
and taking “slack” from my little Poland buddies because
I was starting 1st grade at St. Luke’s instead of North Elementary
in Poland…. I have been waiting to see these two teams play.
My brother Ron started his freshman year at Mooney that fall and
I have been a diehard Cardinal (St. Luke & Cardinal Mooney)
ever since! The time has come…..

Being
a Mooney fan in the heart of Poland can be a little challenging
at times, but I have gained many friendships over the years with
others that have moved into Poland and become Bulldog faithful.
This game has been anticipated by many fans throughout the entire
Mahoning Valley for many, many, MANY years! The 2 schools, being
less than 9 miles from each other and roughly the same size for
portions of the past 50 years, have never played before. Many have
imagined would this game would be like over the years….well
now we get to see first hand. This should be a great game for the
entire Valley to see!

Fitch’s Falcon Stadium will be electric this Friday night!
We, as Cardinal Mooney supporters….need every single Mooney
fan around, in attendance and cheering on the Cardinals for 48 minutes!
It’s
crunch time gentlemen….let’s see who wants it more!
We
are on a mission. This week is Mission #13. The Poland Bulldogs!
